The name "Miss Courageous" actually came from a song my husband wrote with his former band The Nixon Clocks. Even though I didn't know him then, it seemed the song was written about me.
Miss Courageous is a mother, a sister, a friend, a mentor, an inspiration. She is strong, adventurous, brave, creative, independent, heroic. She is you.
Millie Hilgert lives in Boise Idaho with her husband Barry and daughter Greta. She recently left a career as a corporate trainer in the cosmetic industry to spend more time with her family. As a result she has returned to her passion for creativity. She designs and makes all Miss Courageous jewelry. Millie's work is always evolving and new pieces are created each week.
